UK Songwriting Competition 2024 Finalist !
Siberian Studios "Dusk and Dark Skies" from the album 'Yorkshire Dales Elements' has progressed to the finals of 2024 UK Songwriting Competition. And ... the track "Music of Memories" recorded late in 2024 was also placed receiving a Five Star 'Highly Commended' award. Hans Half-Hog
Hans Half-Hog is a brand new musical written, recorded and produced by award winning composer BJ Franklin. Based on one of the Brothers Grimm's darker tales, it warns of rash promises, of secrets and of the dangers of deep prejudice. This ancient story resonates with a modern world that is quicker to judge than understand.
The album contains 17 brand new songs and a narration by Ben himself and is available on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music and all good streaming services.

Record and promote the beauty of the rich and diverse sounds of the British countryside

Siberian Studios was set-up to provide high quality sound recording to individuals and businesses here in the north of England.
As a project studio we cater mainly for solo singer/songwriters and also those wanting to record their own versions of others' music for promotional reasons; we can cater for small groups - just ask.
We support the recording of many styles of music from rock/pop to easy listening and from orchestral to rap.
And, whilst recording studios are often seen as the reserve of 'young people', we are particularly keen to support those not in 'the first flush of youth'!
We also try to keep costs realistic - our love is for good music not money!
